The migration
A full commerce replatform, not a reskin
We moved JellyBean Tanning from a rigid Wix storefront to a flexible Shopify theme, rebuilding the paths that help customers discover, compare and confidently buy.
Conversion-led homepage
A clearer campaign hierarchy, stronger social proof and faster product discovery replaced the flat legacy landing page.
PLP and PDP systems
Filters, scent-aware product cards, sale states, variant imagery, delivery guidance and recommendations were rebuilt as one system.
Merchant-editable theme
Reusable Online Store 2.0 sections and dynamic settings give the team control over campaigns, menus and product storytelling.
Customer data
Customer profiles and contact data were cleaned, normalised and migrated into Shopify.
Historical order mapping
Legacy order history was imported and mapped back to the correct customer records for continuity after launch.
Discount migration
Eligible discount codes and promotional rules were recreated in Shopify and checked against the new storefront.
SEO redirects
Legacy Wix URLs were mapped to their new Shopify routes with permanent redirects to protect existing links and search equity.

More than a visual redesign
Behind the new UI is a maintainable Shopify theme system. We added more than 5,000 lines across Liquid, JSON templates, CSS and JavaScript, replacing one-off Wix pages with reusable commerce components and merchant-editable sections.
The work covered responsive mega navigation, dynamic promotional imagery, stable product carousels, custom scent and pricing states, PDP proof, mobile drawer logic and the supporting pages that make the storefront feel cohesive.
Because key content now lives in Shopify’s theme editor, the JellyBean Tanning team can change campaigns, menus and product storytelling without reopening the migration.
